The BRCW Group are a group of volunteers responsible for the preservation, restoration and operation of twelve 1950's Class 104 diesel railcars, spread across three heritage railways in the UK.
We have been successful in returning five vehicles to regular passenger service
with restoration of a sixth currently in progress.
This website provides the latest news of these railcars, background information and an online resource for the history of the Class 104.

Mainline Gallery
The most popular section of our website is the Mainline Gallery. An impressive historical collection totaling over 2,300 images of Class 104 railcars during their working lives for British Rail, 1957-1993.
